Normal Electrical Work Required For a Kitchen Renovation

Kitchen renovations are not cheap, but if you opt to have the project done the right way the first time you won’t have to spend additional time and effort there also. Should you take some time to generate a smart plan and consult the specialists you’ll be rewarded with a kitchen that’s secure, convenient and functional.

Kitchen Eelectrical Services

Among the first things to consider when renovating a kitchen would be to seek for a licensed electrician. The positioning of sockets and wires is subject to a set of rules and regulations, and so it’sn’t something you can manage yourself. There are many laws to consider, you should seek the services of an electrician for virtually anything aside from replacing a light bulb.

The minimal space between the kitchen sink and the electric sockets is one of the concerns which are controlled by legislation. This space is variable with all the capacity of the sink. Smaller sinks will need 0.4m from the top to any electrical fittings or 0.15m from the sides of the sinks to the electric outlets. Bigger sinks that may hold over 45 litres need 1 meter from the top or 0.5m away from their side edges to the closest electrical fitting or socket.
